Captain's Log -- 04/30/2020 -- 3 Tips for Solo Life

Part of my journey will not only being prepared physically and ensuring that Wahine is in proper working order, but also to mentally prepare. A large part of the mental readiness will be coping with the loneliness and difficulties of prolonged isolation while at sea. It is not lost on me that globally, most of us have been thrust into a new situation with very limited social contact, and we are finding ourselves with a large amount of alone time. How to cope? These are 3 small insights that have emerged from my contemplation on isolation and relying on the self.
