Repairing our boom bag, Can a Handheld sewing machine handle the boom bag? Let's Find Out! We bought a $10 handheld sewing machine at Spotlight (the fabric store) and we are going to see if can handle the boom bag and use it to do some sewing repairs. The zipper on our boombag is showing wear and its time for a new one so we are ripping it off and upcycling an old boom bag from another boat to help us repair our bag. There is also another twist, we are taking extra material from the upcycling boom bag and going to put some more material on our boom bag.
