What started off for Rob and the boys as a straightforward trip north quickly became a test of grit, seamanship, and determination. With squalls rolling through and confused seas building, two boats in our group made the tough decision to turn back. They pushed on. And as night fell, we faced a harbour entrance that rivalled Knysna, South Africa for difficulty. Guided in under darkness, with breaking waves around us, this arrival will be etched in Rob's sailing memory forever.
