Avalon Dive Park, Catalina Island a Southern California Scuba Adventure.

The Avalon Dive Park located on Catalina Island. A short drive up from San Diego and then an hour and half boat ride from Dana Point. Easy shore diving into a protected park. Always a fun dive due to the healthy population of marine life. The park has a kelp forest and contains several artificial wrecks that also attracts marine life. Spring and summer bring Black Sea Bass into the park. These fish are massive weighting several hundred pounds and are usually easily appreciable if done in a non threatening manner.
