Attempted Robbery! [Living On A Sailing Boat]

I'm not sure I'd go as far as to say that this is every sailors worst nightmare (as I'm sure it's not) but it is very much a serious concern. Living on a sail boat has many aspects of vulnerability that you don't often need to worry about when living in a traditional house, but even though being robbed can happen in a house or on a boat, you can't help but feel somewhat more vulnerable on a sailing yacht. There's no garden, no fences or walls, no security lights, etc, and in some cases you could even be at anchor with no one else around you.
