Arctic Expedition: Learn to Shoot, Watermaker, Wind Generator - Sailing Kauana Ep 28

Alright everyone! Episode 28 is on and this time we'll let you know a bit about what it takes to prepare for an Arctic expedition. We will be sailing to some of the most remote parts of the planet and beeing self sufficient is mandatory! We will need to get our boat in tip top condition and also we'll step in to some very unfamiliar territory. Guns! And we don't know anything about guns! In order to step on land outside the settlements of Svalbard, we are obliges to be carrying a rifle for Polar Bear protection. So if we want to be able to rent a rifle, we will first have to prove we are able to safely handle a fire arm. Also on this episode, we finish installing our Schenker 60 watermaker, fix our Rutland Wind Generator and some other maintenance jobs.
