To get the fastest speed we need the shape the sail for the best airflow. Because of the effects of apparent wind and the change wind speed with altitude the apparent wind direction changes with height above the water. In this video I show how to safely adjust the Jib or genoa sheet traveler (Fairlead) and how to use a series of telltales to know when the sail twist is correct.
