And we’re OFF! Joined by Keith and Fred (who you will get to know very quickly…) we depart Las Palmas and head off to Barbados. It’s a blissful, autopilot driven, legs up and beer in hand kind of start, but as we round the corner of the island Gran Canaria, the winds build and we are in for a rough first few days… Between camera issues, sea sickness, rope breakages and galley spillages, we can still all vouch that it is one of the most amazing experiences a person can ever undergo.
