After our anchor chain is completely rusting, we invest in a new one and get it delivered to Fakarava shortly before Christmas. 90m new chain, first get it on the boat and then exchange it against the old one... Friends of us gratefully take our old chain, because the first 40m are still relatively good and help us to get the rusty monster out of the box.
