355: We Explored Raiatea... and THIS Happened!

After relocating the boat to Raiatea last week, a priority was finally seeing a doctor about a persistent fungus or parasite that had been plaguing me for five months. In this episode, we meticulously follow the prescribed treatment, determined to get rid of it for good. The second half of our week was a fantastic mix of local flavor and culture. We enjoyed a great meal at a restaurant beloved by cruisers—and which has arguably the best bathroom in all of French Polynesia! After that, we took a scenic drive around the island enjoying the locals and the views. But the highlight, was finally getting to attend the opening ceremony of the Raiatea Heiva festival. We'd been looking forward to this for a year, and it was a spectacular introduction to the vibrancy of French Polynesian traditions. #raiatea #frenchpolynesia #fungus #dispensaire NEW TO OUR CHANNEL? So, here begins our journey, filled with unmatched excitement and honestly, a bit of trepidation as well. We have much to learn as we travel the world on our floating home and we intend to document that journey and share it with you.
