We took a moment to stop by Manta Ray Bay, Hook Island, Whitsundays and we were soooo glad that we did. What an underwater wonderland this spectacular place is. The marine life there was simply incredible. Huge Maori Wrasse swam alongside us without a care in the world, curious Batfish followed us around like underwater puppies, and Giant Trevally cruised past looking like they'd spent years lifting weights at the gym. We also revisited the famous underwater manta ray sculpture, which is every bit as magical as we remembered. This is a must-see bay within the Whitsundays. Thanks for watching. Le quatirème jour, nous avions prévu de monter en haut du volcan de la Souffrière. Malheureusement, comme souvent autour des volcans, le temps était vraiment très dégradé. Nous sommes arrivés au sommet mais nous n'avons pas pu approcher du cratère qui est désormais accessible uniquement avec un guide. Ce fut une journée dantesque mais mémorable. Avec le mauvais temps, nous n'avons fait que très peu de photos et de vidéos afin de ne pas abîmer notre matériel. Ces séquence ont été tournées simplement avec nos smartphones d'où une qualité vidéo moyenne. Ces vidéos s'adressent en premier lieu à nos famille et nos proches mais j'ai décidé de les mettre en public afin de permettre à d'autres de voir quelques images de ces endroits magnifiques. Some footage from a recent SeaDoo RXP325 ride in Wollongong, Australia. My JetSki has 190hrs on it and is not modified, this is standard performance for the 325hp engine!! My ski recently undertook a heavy hull reinforcement procedure at 180hrs. The repair I performed includes rear hull reinforcement, propulsion jet intake area reinforcement, and bow area reinforcement with epoxy fibreglass. Top speed on this ride was 118km/h, average fuel burn: 35 litres per hour. The waves were small in the open ocean, while the small wave chop was fairly high. I plan to upload a video again soon with some wave jumping.

Getting up early to pass through Teddington Lock and into the tidal Thames we thought the high water levels were due to the autumn equinox and that we’d soon be through Thames Lock at Brentford and onto the Grand Union Canal. Monatelang war dieser Törn nur ein Plan. Jetzt beginnt unser großes Segelabenteuer. Sieben Tage. Über 220 Seemeilen. Eine Bavaria Cruiser 40. Unsere Route führt uns von Rügen über Bornholm und Christiansø bis an die schwedische Küste und wieder zurück. In der ersten Folge reisen wir nach Breege auf Rügen und übernehmen unsere Yacht. Doch schon bevor wir überhaupt ablegen, wird klar: Dieser Törn beginnt anders als erwartet. Ein Crewmitglied fällt kurzfristig krankheitsbedingt aus und auch die Bootsübernahme verläuft nicht ganz reibungslos. Am nächsten Morgen heißt es endlich: Leinen los. Unsere erste Etappe führt uns entlang der beeindruckenden Kreideküste Rügens nach Glowe.
