I share my experience at the Wadden Sea, a World Heritage site and unique ecosystem home to millions of migratory birds and 4 species of seals! We got to see them up close and personal during a seal release, made possible by the local seal rescue and rehab centre. While I'd love to go up north and enjoy the wildlife again, our plotter is showing a faster route through Amsterdam. That would also reduce our sailing time in the treacherous North Sea, so I'm not complaining!

A sea turtle seems to have joined our vacation here in White’s Landing. Join us for a day in the life of a family living on a sailboat. We go for a morning dip and feel very disappointed that the 72 degree waters in Catalina island are still too cold for the baby to enjoy. Teaching our 14 month old baby to drive the dinghy as we head to land for a morning walk and enjoy showing Tere one of our favorite family activities from our sailboat, searching for seaglass. It’s days like these that make living full-time on our sailboat worth it.
