Fixing water pump belt that got cut. Had to wait a couple days for a new belt. When things go wrong on a boat you have to fix it yourself. Boat repairs are done a little differently than on land. Improvising and tight quarters are just a few of the problems.

This is a highlights from this year Rolex Big Boat Series onboard ASTRA the Farr 400. As well as racing on the boat I alsoI take care of all of the rigging. This year the conditions were marginal conditions with a wind range of 5-12 knots for most of the races with puffs peaking at 22knots. Our boat loves the breeze as we get up and plane downwind. This year we got thrown in ORC Division A. The fleet consisted of Merlin the famous Santa Cruz 70, Zeus the Infinity 52 (Turbo 52 footer with DSS Foils), Halawa an Andrews 56, and Bodacious + the 1D 48.
