After some serious life changes we have officially moved onto our Hunter 37 Legend sailboat. Wake up thoughts of clarity are my favorite.

I took a little tour of the Seaside Beach Yacht Club, checked out the Coast Guard Lifeboat Station that saved sunken ships in the 1930s and 1940s, Visited the ‘Judges Fishing Shack’, saw an amazing little private residence on one of the barrier islands, Checked out the nature center and saw some Fin Whale Jaw bones from a 55’ beached Whale. The Island of dreams - in the 1960s a holiday resort with 52 hotel rooms and 46 bungalows, with a nightclub, tennis court and its own beach. Bureaucratic pitfalls and the financial crisis forced the owner to give up. Since then, the area has been languishing and has been the target of vandals, lost place fans and graffiti artists. We can only hope that one day potential investors can create a paradise again on this beautiful piece of island. It looks like a haunted place and it is scary.
