We Smelled Smoke! It took us several hours to sort out where the electrical problem was! I never would have looked at this area for a wiring problem! We don't know the exact age of our Mermaid Heat Pump Air Conditioner but we know it's not as old as the boat. It seemed to work fine for both heat and AC until we suddenly smelled electrical smoke and realized it had stopped working a few hours later. In this video we also weathered an unexpected Gale and another catamaran in the marina was almost in danger when the cleat broke loose.
