In the first days of October I went to the most southern tip of Mozambique to explore the underwaterworld of Ponta do Ouro. Just one kilometer away from the South African border you can explore divesites full of fish and large megafauna (Bull Sharks, Tiger Sharks, Silver Tip Sharks, Manta Rays and many more). But I also encountered bad visibility and a water temperature of about 19-20 degrees which is quite unusual for this time of the year. Maybe the best part about the months September and October, is the constant sighting of humpback whales from shore or from the zodiac (speedboat).
