Recta final de la primera etapa del cruce del Atlántico Canarias - Cabo Verde. Tras una semana de travesía tocamos tierra, esta vez Cabo Verde, perteneciente a Africa para pasar las Navidades. Como visteis en el episodio anterior nos quedamos sin motor y sien viento, tras varias horas conseguimos arreglarlo desatascando de manguera de alimentación del motor y purgando el sistema. Volvemos a rumbo y tras unas horas por fin aparecen los vientos alisios. Como celebración después del día con problemas del motor lo celebramos con pan y tarta casera, al igual que nos visitan los delfines. Conseguimos ir a vela lo que resta de travesia hasta Cabo Verde empujados de suaves vientos de popa, y a su vez comienza el festín de pesca. Tras varios días de poca pesca nos entran varios Mahis Mahis (dorados) gigantes. Tras rellenar nevera y congelador hasta arriba decidimos no pescar más en lo que resta de travesía. De esta manera afrontamos los últimos días para recalar en Cabo Verde, con ya el viento establecido, mucha pesca y listos para celebrar las Navidades en Mindelo... Entre préparation du bateau, petites galères et surprises, on vous montre la réalité à Fidji 🇫🇯 On part explorer Castaway Island avec un objectif un peu fou : retrouver le célèbre ballon Wilson du film "Seul au monde" avec Tom Hanks 🎬 Bon… on ne l’a pas trouvé 😅 mais l’endroit est incroyable ! La saison cyclonique a commencé 🌪️ Il est temps pour nous de rejoindre Vuda Marina afin de préparer le bateau pour 4 mois de stockage (dans l’eau). Préparer un voilier pour plusieurs mois, c’est une longue liste de choses à faire… et à ne surtout pas oublier ⚓ À Vuda Marina, même monter et descendre du bateau devient un vrai défi 💪 👉 Vivre en voilier, ça maintient clairement en forme : souple, musclé… et fatigué 😅 On commence par tout rincer à l’eau douce, puis on enlève les voiles, on nettoie, on range, on organise… Bref, c’est du boulot ! Miles de delfines nos rodean y nos acompañan en la travesía navegando rumbo isla de Piratas del Caribe. Dejamos atrás las Granadinas, las islas que nos han mostrado como es el auténtico Caribe, islas paradisiacas donde los locales viven felices. Comenzamos nuestro camino hacia el norte, con el objetivo de llegar a Santa Lucía a solucionar los graves problemas del barco que arrastramos. Haremos escala primero en San Vicente, donde esperaremos una buena meteo para cruzar a Santa Lucía. Una travesía de 10 horas en las que nos pasa de todo, nos vemos absorbidos por varios "squalls" que traen viento y lluvia, intentamos pescar y presenciamos el mayor espectáculo de delfines en libertad hasta la fecha. En el canal de las Granadinas a San Vicente nos sorprenden cientos de delfines que bailan, saltan y vuelan alrededor de nosotros, una increíble escena que quedará en nuestras retinas. Se puede ver en las imágenes como jugaban junto a Nómadas del Mar, nos acompañaban en el camino mostrándonos todo su repertorio de trucos. Que belleza. Una vez pasamos el canal los delfines nos abandonan, ya estamos sanos y salvos a sotavento de la isla. Desde fuera ya se puede ver lo salvaje que es la isla, la cual mucha gente nos ha dicho que es peligrosa. Nos reciben dos locales en una barca de apenas 2 metros a unas millas de la costa, los cuales se ofrecen a ayudarnos para fondear en la bahía. El fondeo es a la Mediterránea, cabo a tierra por popa y ancla por proa, ellos nos ayudan a amarrar el cabo a una palmera en tierra. Llegamos a Wallilabou Bay, Port Royal en Piratas del Caribe, donde recordamos varias escenas de las películas: los piratas ahorcados a la entrada de la bahía, los muelles a los que llega Jack Sparrow... En el siguiente episodio iremos a explorar la isla, nos adentraremos en la jungla, visitaremos las "plantaciones", pescaremos con locales y descubriremos si es peligrosa como dicen...
