What an incredible few days in La Grande-Motte, France! The International Multihull Show in La Grande‑Motte, France was the perfect opportunity to showcase our world of sailing and power catamarans, and to reconnect with so many passionate boaters. This year, we proudly presented 7 catamarans on display: Leopard 46, Leopard 52, Sunsail 465, Leopard 40PC, Leopard 46PC, the brand‑new Leopard 53PC, and the Moorings 464PC. A major highlight of the show was the Leopard 52, awarded Multihull of the Year in the Sail 45’ to 55’ category. A fantastic recognition of her design, performance and comfort. We were also excited to officially announce the launch of the all‑new Leopard 43, which will make her world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival this coming September, a highly anticipated new model that marks an important milestone for the Leopard Catamarans range. Visitors enjoyed sea trials on two models, unforgettable moments under sail and power, and the opportunity to explore our solutions for ownership, charter management and private cruising. Beyond the boats, the atmosphere made this event truly special: enthusiastic visitors, engaging conversations, a wonderful evening shared with happy owners, and above all an outstanding team of passionate collaborators who made the show a real success. We make a Jeep trip to Jalama Beach Campground in Santa Barbara County, CA. Beautiful ocean views with majestic cliffs. Make some great camp food and enjoy dinner on the beach (Tilapia with bok choy, white rice and peanut sauce). Great burgers at the Jalama Beach Grill. Watched some surfers taking advantage of the waves and get up close to a beached Humpback whale that had recently washed ashore. I'm fitting a new block to the base of the mast and re-fitting the existing ones in a bombproof way to ensure they stay leak-free. Welcome back aboard Moor R & R! Episode 16 Set sail with us as we leave Rabbit Island and enjoy an absolutely fantastic sail across the bay with just the Code Zero out. The winds lined up beautifully, and before long we were dropping anchor in stunning Victor Bay — honestly, in my opinion, this bay might even rival Whitehaven Beach. It’s that beautiful! We explore Keswick Island by water and land, discovering a gorgeous little pebbly beach and then tackling the island’s walking tracks… and yes, those hills are STEEP (did I mention steep?). Basil and Arthur Beaches are both picture-perfect and well worth the hike. Later we meet up with fellow sailors for afternoon sundowners, unwind in our Kick N Bak FLOATS water hammocks, and soak up that magical island atmosphere one last time. Then it’s time to say goodbye to Keswick as we make our way back to Mackay to leave the boat for a couple of weeks. Thanks for joining us on this journey.
