Ce mois-ci à bord de Jade, c’est programme baleines-rando à Moorea ! On y emmène le papa du Capitaine-en-Second, de passage pour quelques semaines et dont c’est l’une des toutes premières navigations… On se prend aussi la tête pour trouver une solution pour laisser Jade, car on a prévu de rentrer en France passer les fêtes (et un peu plus). Or, tout le monde ici nous parle d’El Niño : ce fameux phénomène climatique qui a pour effet, entre autres, d’augmenter les risques de cyclones dans le Pacifique… On décide de prendre la chose au sérieux et de trouver le lieu adéquat pour notre Jadounette. On a mis le temps, mais a priori, on a trouvé. Serait-ce donc la fin de la saison 2 pour La Balade de Jade?!? Pas tout à fait... On vous réserve une petite surprise. So why this boat was owned by the Royal family and how Ian gets to go sailing on it is a bit of a story, and well to be honesty that's what the film is all about. but in brief, we know Steve. And Steve, along with a good friend of his Steve, used to serve on board the Royal Yacht Britannia, back when it was in service as the Royal yacht. Although they have now long since left the service they both work alongside the Britannia trust as volunteers to help keep these boats sailing, and well, it was on one of these trips that I got an invite to come and help.
