O Inaê Soto Amstel Ultra prevê bons ventos em Ilhabela (SP) para a disputa da primeira etapa da Copa Mitsubishi, que começa neste sábado (12) e domingo (13) e terá sequência nos dias 19 e 20 de março. A competição de vela oceânica será a segunda da equipe a bordo do barco Soto 40, um dos mais vitoriosos do país. A estreia ocorreu na última semana, na Copa IC Santos - Regata Volta Ilha das Cabras, no Guarujá (SP), quando a tripulação realizou o batismo do veleiro. Em um aquecimento para a temporada, a equipe ficou em terceiro lugar na classe ORC, fazendo percurso de 20 milhas náuticas em pouco mais de três horas. O também S40 Phytoervas 4Z conquistou o título. A Copa Mitsubishi, organizada pelo Yacht Club de Ilhabela (YCI) com patrocínio da Mitsubishi Motors, terá na disputa três veleiros de competição do tipo S40. Além do Inaê Soto Amstel Ultra, as equipes Phytoervas 4Z e King contarão com o mesmo modelo de barco e prometem travar uma disputa emocionante nas águas de Ilhabela.
