Nicole and I travel along the coast of southern Italy across the Bay of Taranto to a lovely marina in Leuca located at the southern most point on the heal of mainland Italy. We spent 5 days there waiting for a suitable weather window. Suitable is a relative term as northern winds in the Adriatic stirred the seas and made our overnight passage quite the experience. Breezy handled the rough seas better than we did and the push button sailing made easy work of the multiple sail changes necessary for me to find one that suited the sea state during our upwind slog. We arrived in Albania and performed the check in, check out process resetting the EU timeline for ourselves and more importantly, for Breezy. We spent a night outside of Durres in pleasant conditions and then made our way to the Bay of Tivat, Montenegro. Stunning is how I would describe Montenegro as we did not expect such breathtaking views or such elegant marina conditions.

Four Winns Vista 255, una meraviglia sull'acqua, la barca che più rappresenta la filosofia della casa americana, "life should be a beautiful ride" Sì perchè questa barca è costruita proprio per regalarti indimenticabili giornate sull'acqua, prima di tutto, grazie alle sue capacità di navigazione. Tutte le zone vivibili della barca, da poppa a prua, sono caratterizzate dal lusso in puro stile americano, questa Vista 255 infatti, si fa riconoscere proprio per il confort dei suoi interni, che già durante la fiera di Genova avevano stupito il pubblico dello stand Four Winns. Oggi siamo stati sul Lago Maggiore, presso Nautica Ispra per provare la barca in acqua con Emanuele, che insieme a me commercializza Four Winns. In questa recensione abbiamo analizzato la barca da poppa a prua e semplicemente ci sentiamo di dirti che questa barca è davvero speciale. Perchè speciale? Perchè è diversa da tutti i cruiser tipici del mercato europeo. Questa Vista 255 ha una carena che si fa notare per il bellissimo abbinamento di colori rosso-bianco-blu, un pozzetto più confortevole di un salotto ed una cabina più lussuosa di una suite. Le pelli sono ovunque, persino sulle pareti della doccia in cabina, il pavimento del pozzetto è coperto dalla moquette, il grande prendisole di prua ti coccola al sole. In più, quello che stupisce di questa Four Winns è la straordinaria dotazione: c'è un frigo esterno, un tendalino con copertura completa, tv in cabina, tv nel pozzetto, piastra esterna, lavandino interno ed esterno, microonde, doppia plancetta di poppa, bagno con wc, doccia e lavabo, 4 posti letto. Che dire della postazione di guida? Qualche Four Winns ormai l'ho provata, ma ti assicuro che al lusso non ci si abitua mai e ogni volta sedersi alla poltrona di comando di una di queste barche è un momento speciale. Beh la console di questa Vista 255 non fa eccezione. Vuoi una barca che si fa notare ma non vuoi rinunciare a nessuna comodità di casa?
