MMOOO HAHAHAH !
Welcome (and please subscribe!) to the oldest sailing channel on YouTube! This video was shot back in 2009 when Elizabeth and Seth took their Lagoon 380 Catamaran halfway around the world from Norfolk, Virginia to Sydney, Australia. Now it's 2020 and we're back cruising, this time with our kids! Please visit our website for more info at https://www.the-sailing-family.com Original Description: Seth and Elizabeth sail their boat to the island nation of Niue. Honeymoon was at anchor with several whales, which they could hear at night through the hull as they sounded to one another. Niue also featured several caves to explore and the hiking was world class. What a nation! Niue (pronounced New Way). At one time we counted 14 hammerheads schooling! This dive is off the northeast side of the island of Molokai on a rock name Mokuhooniki. We went with North Shore Explorers and left out of the north shore of Maui.

Sailing from Paxos Island to Lefkada, idyllic sailing with a steady breeze and an autohelm. It took us most of the day to reach Lefkas Canal but then traveling in style without the sound of an engine can't be bettered.

The 2009 US Snipe Snipe Nationals kicked off in Pensacola this past June in what was billed as much better conditions than when the Nationals were last here. The conditions were everything competitors thought it would be with everything from very light air to crashing thunderstorms. Throughout the regatta, the Pensacola Yacht Club did an outstanding job of hosting and running the event. The competition was intense, as it always is when Snipes race. They take their motto very seriously. Serious Sailing, Serious Fun. Augie Diaz and Kathleen Tocke won the regatta to keep their string alive from last year in San Francisco. Taking place at the same venue were the US Snipe Jr. Nationals (not older than 21) and the Special Juniors (Jr. skipper and Sr. crew). Raul Rios and Antonio Sifre won the Jr. Nationals and are going to the Snipe Jr. Worlds and 11 year old Christian Filter sailing with his dad came in 2nd overall and won the Special Jr.s.
