This is an alternative to buying a bigger adventure boat. Made in Finland, outboard powered and sleeping for FOUR people in TWO cabins on a boat thats under 30ft and totally rips with a couple 225HP Mercs one a super sweet hull that will allow you to still run fast offshore in moderate conditions. The Flipper 900ST seems like it's been hiding out of sight to me but now that i've spent a day onboard i'm embarrased for not paying more attention to it. This is a high quality boat that deserves the attention because she packs a lot into a little boat and is built to withstand the Aussie climate and looks like a boat that will look after you for a long time. Flipper is under the umbrella of the Nimbus Group from Sweden but this boat is built in Finland. I understand this company has been around for decades and they have a race boat heritage which makes sense considering she'll hit close to 40kts with the smallest motors so should easily be a 50kt weapon with the twin 300hp! Here is a yacht that will give you and possibly your mates options. Pearl very kindly invited me back for a sea trial of the 95 which unfortunatley gor cancelled due to the weather but I was still able to spend a few hours touring and discovering this 30m yacht that could be perfect for some of you guys stepping into your first fully crewed vessel. I first discovered Pearl Yachts at the Cannes Boat Show last year when I had a tour of the 62 and 95 in their range. I was fortunate to be invited on the press day for this new Pearl Yachts 72 over in Palma, Mallorca which is an amazing little island in the Med and part of Spain. This British brand is taking the competition to Princess and Sunseeker by producing a very high quality build at a cheaper price by utilizing their manufacturing facility in China. I've seen this before with an Australian Whitehaven Yachts built in Taiwan and I have to say they have come out with an excellent product that does meet the European brands head on in terms of quality. Sure it won't have the brand recognition that Princess & Sunseeker enjoy in Australia but the cost savings are real and the argument to put a vessel like this into charter is also a solid one. They have already sold their first Pearl 62 into Sydney so expect to see more about this interesting company downunder very soon! This classic 50 motor yacht was built in 1965 by the Hatteras Yachts Company in High Point, North Carolina.Incredible was the name christened her by Hatteras marketing department. With the aid of a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer, the galley and heads were totally reimaged. The galley redesign, the most unique of any 50 or 53 ft Hatteras motor yacht, is truly incredible. Custom Wood-Mode cherry wood cabinets, provided space and amenities trending today in home kitchen design. The added granite countertops turn this personal workspace into a model of beauty and efficiency. The heads, stripped to the bare bones, would take on a more contemporary upscale design that can only be described as functional art.Custom Wood-Mode cabinets, topped with quartz countertops, showcase precision craftsmanship, practical storage and exquisite beauty. She has two 2006 (NEW AT THE TIME) Cummins engines increasing total power from 700 hp to 860 hp.The increased horse power increased cruising speed from 11 to 16 knots and top speed from 13 to 19 knots. The retrofit included a 15 kw generator, ACs, all electronics by Raymarine, an entertainment center, all appliances, windows, updated electrical and lighting throughout, and the addition of stabilizers are just a few of her improvements.
