With a slippery hull, hard chines and a deep rudder, the Dufour 500 GL is a practical cruiser designed with performance in mind. On Carpe Diem we see a very well specified and proven example. The large twin wheel cockpit is practical and innovative. There is a large boarding / swim platform, and the centre seat which opens up to reveal an inbuilt cockpit grill or BBQ. The Chinese always say the city and province are known for spicy food and it didn't disappoint. Klassy Kady is hull number 25 in the series and a 2004 model year boat with the popular widebody saloon arrangement. She is ocean ready rugged and elegantly sophisticated, a pleasing blend of form and function. She has been lovingly looked after, regularly upgraded and presents as a much younger looking yacht than her model year designation. The teak wood joinery, carpet over wood soles, Corian counters, Ekornes Stressless recliners, comfortable upholstery and inclusion of large windows create a very spacious, comfortable and homey environment for spending extended time aboard. The interior accommodations on Klassy Kady are arranged into a three cabin, two head layout. The port guest cabin has two bunk beds for visitors.
