It comes from the respected Berret - Racoupeau Design group, with many beautiful race and cruising vessel to their name. Enchante was launched in 2004 and her second owner has kept the vessel in a fabulous condition, with many recent upgrades. She has also never been chartered. The 373 has a huge cockpit with the Beneteau patented pivoting steering wheel, to provide a clear path from the transom to the companionway when the vessel is berthed or at anchor. The cockpit is well protected with a spray hood, bimini and connecting canvas to provide full shade. All canvas work is in a mint condition (2017), there are even covers for the coachroof and foredeck. The decks are clean and uncluttered with many opening hatches and skylights to provide light and ventilation. Both mainsail and genoa are brand new, another huge plus. The mainsail has lazy jacks and a generous boombag, and can be hoisted and reefed from the cockpit, as all lines are led aft. The genoa is on a furler, also controlled from the cockpit. Enchante has the two cabin layout. Aft is the owner's cabin with a very large double berth and forward is a generous V berth. Two further saloon berths bring the total berth to 6. The saloon is very well lit due to the overhead windows and has ample seating around a centrally mounted folding table. The 'L' shaped galley to port is well appointed, with fridge/ freezer and icebox and two burner stove and oven. The massive head with enclosed shower is to starboard and the forward facing navigation desk to starboard. Last year we crossed the English Channel from Jersey to Falmouth and been across to the Isles of Scilly twice on her. We spent last winter in Falmouth and have stayed in the local area since then to explore it properly. Falmouth has an excellent sailing community and there are plenty of protected anchorages within a short sailing distance that we have been enjoying since our arrival.
