Back in October we found the top 10 sailboats for sale in Florida for under $25k and there were some great finds - but these take the cake. Now, just because the asking prices are creeping up close to $40,000, doesn't mean you should OFFER that amount. It's a buyer's market, for sure, so aim low if you're a buyer. In fact if you find a boat you like, think of an offering price that would make you uncomfortable to offer. Got it? That's the number you should present to the seller or broker! You're not going to hurt anyone's feelings - and you never know what might happen! I know of people who ended up receiving a sailboat for FREE and another friend who negotiated 50% off the asking price. It can happen. But, it won't happen if you don't ask. Banedup Mit dem Inselnamen Banedup kann vielleicht nur der San-Blas-Routinier etwas anfangen. Spricht man jedoch von den Holandes Cays oder sogar vom Swimmingpool weiß jeder Bescheid. Spätestens wenn man von Ibins Beach Restaurant spricht, wird jeder aufmerksam. Auch wir hatten hier an der berühmten Silvesterfeier teilnehmen wollen. Nun sind wir doch hier – wenn auch verspätet. Swimmingpool Der Swimmingpool ist eine von Flachs beschützte 3 – 4 Meter tiefe Fläche mit reinem Sandboden nordwestlich von Banedup. Bei Sonne strahlt das Wasser türkisfarben. Heute hat der Wind ungewöhnlich nachgelassen. Wir brechen auf zum Schnorcheln. Zum Teil ist das Wasser super flach, sodass zumindest einer von uns aussteigen muss. Heute hat der Wind jedoch so weit nachgelassen, dass wir uns mit dem Dingy bis ans Außenriff trauen und hier eine faszinierende Canyon Landschaft durchschwimmen. Mir begegnen Manns große Rochen - sie sind schon ein wenig Angst einflößend. Die über 2 m großen Rochen ziehen mit wellenförmigen Bewegungen majestätisch unter mir dahin. The Turkish gulet for sale, constructed for charter by renowned builder Hasan Ali Bayar in 1990, is a masterpiece of traditional design and craftsmanship. Boasting a transom stern and sturdy construction, this vessel embodies the charm and elegance of classic Turkish maritime architecture. Since its launch, the gulet has undergone several upgrades to ensure optimal performance and comfort. Nachdem auch die zweite Starterbatterie den Dienst quittiert hat, muss eine neue organisiert werden. Batterien sind in Panama absurd teuer. Diesel Der Diesel ist backbord und steuerbord nahezu alle. Ein Kuna-Boot transportiert uns 350 Liter Diesel bis zu MariaNoa – herzlichen Dank für diese Aktion. Frischwasser und Trinkwasser Aber unser größtes Problem ist die Frischwasserversorgung. Durch den Blitzeinschlag hatten wir vor der ungeplanten halbjährigen Produktionsunterbrechung die Membranen weder spülen noch konservieren können. Nach Wiederinbetriebnahme produzierte unser Wassermacher im Süßwasser zwar noch merkwürdig schmeckendes und riechendes Frischwasser, nicht aber im Salzwasser. Wir versuchten die Membranen auszubauen und irgendwie zu spülen - vergeblich. Dringend bestellte ich daher beim Hersteller die benötigte Ersatz-Unit. Aber wenn man etwas dringend, sehr dringend, benötigt, dauert es um so länger. Vor knapp vier Wochen habe ich mit dem Hersteller das erste Mal Kontakt aufgenommen. Aktuell stecken die Ersatzteile beim amerikanischen Zoll in Jacksonville Kentucky fest – und wir haben nichts zu trinken. Habt Ihr konkrete Fragen?
