Brigitta war natürlich erst einmal vollkommen überrascht, obwohl eine Weltumsegelung wesentlich besser in Ihr berufliches Leben als Vorruheständlerin passte als in meins. In den letzten 6 Monaten hat Sie aber eine erstaunliche Entwicklung hinter sich gebracht und freut sich auf unser großes Abenteuer genau wie ich. ** NOW SOLD ** ‘Altaira’, a 2009 Hanse 400e is now proudly and exclusively for sale with the YOTI team in Queensland. The 400's is a popular Hanse and the 'e'poxy versions are particularly sought after. Hanse's are particularly known for their ability to tick boxes in terms of performance, ease of handling, style and quality. This generation Hanse boasted the T “speed” keel, with low centre of gravity. The epoxy hull means a lighter, stiffer and stronger hull compared to alternative brands and materials of the same era. The cockpit is spacious and comfortable with a centrally mounted steering wheel, large protective sprayhood with clears and a full helmsman bimini. All halyards and control lines are led aft to the cockpit winches, with the starboard companionway winch being electric, to facilitate hoisting the mainsail. Her Quantum Cruise laminate full batten mainsail and overlapping genoa are in good order, complemented by a practically new MPS, which is flown from the dedicated stemhead padeye. Onboard are also the original and older main and self-tacking job. Electronics are by Simrad with wind and nav instruments in the cockpit, auto-pilot, VHF and multifunction navigation displays at each helm. A real bonus is the 12v Katadyn 80 Watermaker, which makes about 15l/h whilst drawing less than 10 amps. Altaira has the versatile three-cabin layout giving great flexibility for both accommodation and storage while still having generous cockpit lockers. The main saloon is light and airy, in satin varnished American Cherry style joinery with off-white bulkheads. It features a large U-shaped settee to starboard, a central dining table which lowers to form an additional double bunk, and a desk/nav station with two comfortable armchairs to port. This makes for a dual-purpose work/social area and maximizes this area. The generous owner’s cabin is forward, with a large, centrally mounted double berth with good light and ventilation, seats and plenty storage. Two twin cabins aft also have good storage and ventilation. The spacious head with big shower stall lies to port. To starboard is the well thought out L- shaped galley, with a good working surface, top and front accessed fridge with freezer compartment and double burner stove and oven. Altaira has been slipped, anti-fouled and polished in November this year (’20) and is ready for this upcoming season. ** NOW SOLD ** Pipedream is a Dehler 34 listed exclusively for sale with YOTI on Pittwater. Launched new in 1992, Pipedream presents in impressive condition. This is both a credit to her owners and the build quality of this German built yacht. The Dehler 34 represents an era of yacht building simply not replicated in most of today's production brands. The Dehler 34 succeeded in welding an excellent design mix to produce a genuine cruiser / racer. A good sized cockpit features the mainsheet easily reached by the helm, adequate room for a croozy lunch while at anchor (using the electric anchor winch), good access to the water via a stainless swim ladder and a heap of storage. A dodger is included which is easily folded down plus there is a three part boom tent (new 2016). Three genoas are included (one virtually unused) plus running gear is ready to accommodate a kite. New additional winches have been added making the genoa sheets easily reached from the helm making single handed sailing very inviting. Down below we see an interior designed for function, comfort and using materials with longevity in mind (just enough wood). This is a space that has been maintained the way it should. This 38ft Bavaria Cruiser is a real beauty and a great versatile all rounder yacht. The German built Bavaria Cruiser 38 is a well proportioned, classic styled yacht that offers comfort, space and a great sailing experience. 'Shibumi' has had a great life with locally based owners taking extremely good care of her. They have enjoyed several seasons Club racing with RMYC, Avalon SC and Woody Point. They were drawn to the open cabin setting and her lovely light and roomy interior while her size and sail plan helped them to improve their sailing skills. So we have found this Carver Voyager 45 for sale in Los Angeles Area and wanted to show it to you all. Even though our Liveaboard Yacht is 47' overall due to the custom extended swim platform, the actual Meridian 408 Model is 42'. So this Carver Yacht has 5 feet on ours and would definitely make a good liveaboard for someone. It has a lot of great features, such as a Flybridge, a Cockpit, 2 Cabins with ensuites, an Open floorplan with a good galley, Big Diesel Engine Package and lots more:) She would make a great Starter Boat as a weekend boat, liveaboard, or a Coastal Cruiser.
