This was my reaction to the first attempt at launching Freddie, after over a week of waiting past the day we were told we would be launched… We put our lives on hold to get her ready and to show up for this, not to mention getting our hopes way up that we would finally see her off land and back where she belongs, in the water… My heart was hurting and I felt frustrated… but tried to focus on positives. Non esiste emozione più grande per me, che uscire dal proprio porto e ricevere il saluto dai Comandanti dei grandi Yacht. Un saluto ma anche un segno di rispetto che non puoi, da marinaio, apprezzare moltissimo. Ricevere questo saluto, nel porto dove faccio sede o come preferisco chiamarlo io "casa mia", è un qualcosa che mi ha riempito il cuore. Grazie Viareggio, ti voglio un mare di bene!
