This was my reaction to the first attempt at launching Freddie, after over a week of waiting past the day we were told we would be launched… We put our lives on hold to get her ready and to show up for this, not to mention getting our hopes way up that we would finally see her off land and back where she belongs, in the water… My heart was hurting and I felt frustrated… but tried to focus on positives. 5 days of adventure, challenges, and teamwork! Not a lot of wind for the most part but the little we got made for some amazing sailing at times. Out to Moturekareka island, on out to Great Barrier for 2 nights before a magical night sail back to Motutapu for the last night. The lads then took charge of the yacht on the last day, and sailed us safely home. Knot work, Raft building, beach games and a huge beach clean up at Rangiwhakea Bay. Well done team!

As we sailed a pod of dolphins started jumping in the bow wake. Deb jacked in and went forward with the camera to get some pictures. I just shot a quick video of her, but caught some of the dolphins jumping also. Watch the left side of the bow pulpit.
