This was my reaction to the first attempt at launching Freddie, after over a week of waiting past the day we were told we would be launched… We put our lives on hold to get her ready and to show up for this, not to mention getting our hopes way up that we would finally see her off land and back where she belongs, in the water… My heart was hurting and I felt frustrated… but tried to focus on positives. Si l’alizé ne s’est pas montré très vigoureux, réduisant à portion congrue les régates à la voile au profit de convoyages au moteur, la bonne humeur était bien au rendez-vous. L’objectif des Echappées Belles est d’ailleurs avant tout de passer un moment convivial, de s’amuser sur l’eau, de profiter de belles escales tout en rencontrant de nouveaux équipages, de découvrir des spécialités locales et de partager des anecdotes, des histoires de mer. Cette rencontre est également l’occasion de connecter l’équipe du chantier avec celle d’un concessionnaire de la marque et des Propriétaires.
