This was my reaction to the first attempt at launching Freddie, after over a week of waiting past the day we were told we would be launched… We put our lives on hold to get her ready and to show up for this, not to mention getting our hopes way up that we would finally see her off land and back where she belongs, in the water… My heart was hurting and I felt frustrated… but tried to focus on positives. We never understood how the air around us was affecting us… until we sailed into air that healed us. Living on the boat, our health improved simply because we could finally breathe clean, natural air. One shouldn’t have to sail across oceans for that. Let’s not take the basics for granted.
