This was my reaction to the first attempt at launching Freddie, after over a week of waiting past the day we were told we would be launched… We put our lives on hold to get her ready and to show up for this, not to mention getting our hopes way up that we would finally see her off land and back where she belongs, in the water… My heart was hurting and I felt frustrated… but tried to focus on positives. I slightly modified the grip on my Glock 36. I got rid of the little finger nubs because my fingers are way too fat for the factory grip. I taped the gun off with painters tape. I then used a dremel tool and sand paper until I got to this point. I also rounded out some of the trigger guard, because the squareness of it hurt my fingers. Once I buy some gun oil I think it will look pretty much perfect.
