This was my reaction to the first attempt at launching Freddie, after over a week of waiting past the day we were told we would be launched… We put our lives on hold to get her ready and to show up for this, not to mention getting our hopes way up that we would finally see her off land and back where she belongs, in the water… My heart was hurting and I felt frustrated… but tried to focus on positives. 🇬🇧 What a day of contrasts! From drifting in circles this morning to full speed under spinnaker this evening. 🏁 Disappointing to have lost miles to the competition but nice to be back in the chase! Good things come to those who wait…. Except haircuts. I really need a haircut! 👩 🇫🇷 Quelle journée remplie de contrastes ! De la navigation en rond ce matin à la vitesse maximale sous spi ce soir. 🏁 Déçu d'avoir perdu des milles au profit de la concurrence mais agréable de se remettre dans la course ! Tout vient à point à qui sait attendre.... Sauf les coupes de cheveux. J'ai vraiment besoin d'une coupe de cheveux ! 👩
