Yoo-hoo!! She has officially become a Guppy - EP27

Our new ship has officially become a Guppy. The last months we have been working really hard to get Guppy in good shape and ready for our Atlantic Roundtrip starting in November 2020. After many thoughts I decided to name this vessel Guppy as well. Of course she is very different from the previous Guppy, but for me this vessel stands for a lot of things that are connected to my ”little”( not so little but smaller 🙂 Guppy. Even though this is a completely different goal, it’s certainly a big one that involves a lot of perseverance, persistence, preparation, stubbornness and hard work. But this ship is also the start of a new era in my life just as my ”little” Guppy was. I know she will teach the many teenagers who will sail with her just as much, as the previous Guppy did for me. And most importantly it’s the adventure I had on ”little” Guppy that inspired me to set up this foundation, to give more teenagers and children the chance to experience this as well.
