When wind and tide don't abide, adjust accordingly
We escape the clutches of the rushing Gulf Stream and enter the relatively tranquil waters of the Hawk Channel. But the wind fails me four miles from the anchorage at Indian Key, and I end up just closing the shore and anchoring for the night. Then it's on to Marathon for some re-provisioning, and finally we set off for Key West, which was our original destination some three weeks ago ... TEE SHIRT!
