Fortunately, we had a guest coming to visit and that gave us the perfect excuse to head up to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park that straddles South Africa and Botswana. This isn't a park to see big game like elephants, but that doesn't mean it isn't absolutely amazing. We stayed at a lodge in the middle of the desert, going on several game drives and even getting out for a hike. This place was unlike any we'd ever seen and when we encountered a lion guarding it's kill, we knew we were not in Kansas anymore. Thanks for watching!
