We Almost Dragged Anchor in a 45-Knot Storm | What We Changed Afterwards

After spending over 65% of our nights at anchor over the past year, we've learned that a peaceful night's sleep isn't about luck it's about having an anchoring system you can trust. A midnight rain squall between Singapore and Malaysia pushed our setup to its limits. With winds reaching 40–45 knots, our snubber failed, our anchor started dragging, and we came dangerously close to drifting into Singapore. That experience completely changed the way we think about anchoring.
