Waves So Big We Turned Back! 🌊

We're not gonna lie, we are NOT experienced sailors... and constant 30-35 knot winds entering the Chesapeake was too much for us to handle that day! After enjoying a few days of beautiful weather in Solomon Island, we decided to get a move on to Deltaville, VA. We checked all the weather apps before deciding to head out that morning, but we quickly realized that the predictions were WRONG! We did manage to get better weather the next day and we sailed to a nice quiet anchorage just off of Point Lookout in Scotland, MD for the night.
