Hallberg-Rassy is a high end sailboat manufacturer located at the island Orust on the west coast of Sweden. This island has been the birth place for a lot of great yachts. The boats are expensive, but if you can afford one you will get the state of the art dream yacht, that is capable of long distance cruising. The yard has a long history,. The yard is family owned, and family operated. The yard is without debt. They produce yachts from 43 foot to 69 foot, and have delivered 9400 yachts so far. All of them are delivered on time. The reason for saying this is that this company will put a new teak deck on our old 1982 Nauticat 38 this coming winter.
