Visiting Family in Utah Ep.10

On our way to the Bahamas we were able to stop in Utah to visit family! After all our BAD LUCK trying to leave Oregon, it felt good to have a little bit of a rest, before continuing on. While in Nevada the dipstick tube on the truck broke making it impossible to check the transmission fluid! We found a local shop to replace it and also flush the transmission while they were at it. We also requested that they adjust the steering because the steering has been very sloppy, making it difficult to drive in traffic while towing the boat. We got the truck back only to find that the transmission LEAKED leaving a HUGE mess in the driveway! They also did NOT fix the steering AT ALL, but still charged us for the work! We were not happy and took the truck back to the shop to get fixed AGAIN! (the steering never did get fixed) We were afraid of getting snowed in while we were in Utah, but we also wanted to have time to spend with family before leaving for the East Coast.
