Family Time & The Kickoff to Season 9 in French Polynesia S9 E1

Hello everybody. After a little hiatus, we are back to producing videos. Season 8 took us from Panama and finished on the island of Tahiti in French Polynesia, and Season 9 will take us from Tahiti to Tonga, then Fiji, and all the way to New Zealand. There is a lot of passage making in this upcoming season, and some more great exploring and diving in these wonderful islands that dot the South Pacific. These videos are about six months behind, but we will be catching up with this season. Today, the boat was loaded on a ship in Auckland, New Zealand, headed to Spain for our summer sailing in the Mediterranean. It was bittersweet to finish Season Nine in Auckland and leave the boat and come home. The fourteen months of cruising from Panama to New Zealand was all that we hoped for and more. It's a bit melancholy to have it be over. I know, I know, there will be more adventures ahead, but I don't know if anybody can top crossing that ocean.
