VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP: Salve Regina University x OHPRI PART 1
PART 1 OF 3 On April 2, 2020, Dr. Myra Edelstein of Salve Regina University hosted a livestream "Virtual Field Trip" for her freshman seminar with OHPRI's Captain Jonathan Kabak. Originally planned to be held aboard ship, the class was moved online due to COVID-19 restrictions. The seminar uses SSV Oliver Hazard Perry and the lessons of the maritime industry to explore innovation, creativity, and resilient communities. Part 1 features a livestream walkthrough of the ship with the ship's engineer, Jackson Hruschka. This livestream was held on WebEx. Audio and video quality may vary during the stream.
