Traveling up or down the Chesapeake Bay can be a cruise by itself. The Bay is about 200 miles from the Susquehanna to the Atlantic Ocean and has a shoreline of 11,685 miles - which is longer than the shoreline of the US Pacific Coast. In this video, Captains Frank Mummert and Tom Tursi discuss transiting the Chesapeake Bay with Captain Yvonne Brandt - a seasoned captain and instructor with the Maryland School of Sailing and Seamanship.
