Tilting Solar Panels on a Sailboat
Our solar setup have always been different then the typical cruising sailboat. Most cruisers have fixed panels rigidly attached to an arch or bimini structure. Although this provides a secure support, it limits the amount of solar that can be harvested from the sun. With our setup we can tilt the panels to optimize our solar input. It has served us well over the past 8 years, but now it's time to make some improvements to the whole setup.
