THRASHED BY HUGE LOW-PRESSURE SYSTEM. We sailed to safety just in time CH.16

We are stuck in a 10.47 metre boat surrounded by heavy rain, damaging winds and just metres from dangerous surf. We got to Coffs Harbour just in time for a huge low-pressure system to grace us with its presence. We realise how small Nakama really is as we are confined to the small space. When there is a gap in the rain we make a run from our leaky boat up to Muttonbird Island where we are gobsmacked by Mother nature's impressiveness. After much of the system had left us, we make our way to check out the waterfalls that had been filled by the heavy rainfall. Thinking of getting some camera gear?
