The Factory Forgot a Part on This $2M Yacht (Blue Water 56, Part 2)

Printable watch schedules, pre-departure checklists, delivery tools โ https://bethecaptain.com/locker The Blue Water 56 is back for round two, and the factory left us a surprise. The anchor was sitting on the dock, the windlass refused to turn, and when I opened the control box I found the problem: the solenoid was never installed. Not failed. Missing. Something tells me nobody ever tested it. In this episode we finish the commissioning. I install the new solenoid, fix the furler wiring that came swapped from the factory, and rig the ground tackle properly, with a full masterclass on anchor swivels, shackle loading, and lock-wiring so it never comes apart and never cuts a hand. Then the crew from Nance & Underwood tunes the rig in two days flat, and we get the payoff: the first sail of Hull #9, plus why every brand-new rig needs re-tuning under load once the construction stretch sets in. We close with the full walkthrough: three chainplates per side, the old-school structure almost nobody builds anymore, some of the best stainless welding I have ever seen on a production boat, Manship hatches throughout, and an interior in white oak and teak. โช MISSED PART 1?
