The BEST place to have a country music Hoedown!

One thing I secretly love is a good country music hoedown. I used to think the Calgary Stampede was the best of the best when it came to Country. I was wrong. This week I witnessed the best. A Country Hoedown, an awesome group of boaters, AND our own island. This is that party. I get some top quality line dancing instruction and rip up the dancefloor while Sayo enjoys the local distilled beverages and we get our first taste of pre-teen girl drama. The core of "Family Circus" is Chris (Dad / Captain), Sayo (Mom / Admiral), Aya (First Officer / Deckhand) and Miya (Baby / Stainless Polisher). After many years in business in Vancouver we were tired of life inside the box and wanted to make a change, we just weren't exactly sure what would be next. In July of 2016, when Sayo was six months pregnant, we decided (somewhat at the last minute) to fly to New Caledonia for one last holiday before the baby was born. On this trip we decided to buy "Family Circus", planned to sail her to New Zealand and started an adventure that has changed our lives.
