Tender Sea Trial - How many KNOTS FASTER will the Tinny go?? | Sailing with the James's (Ep. 98)

We recently transitioned from an inflatable tender and our latest project has been transforming our 3.7-meter tinny into the ultimate cruising tender. The paint’s dried, the glue’s set—now it’s time to see how it performs. Have the upgrades made a difference, and was all worth it? Recap on the improvements: -Fiberglass Floors -Upcycled Tender Collar -Cushions for seats -Non-skid paint on the floors and on the bow -Pool Noodle Bumper for railing -Pod Extensions on the back of the boat for easy access into and out of the water when snorkeling and swimming This week we are also punching some holes in the boat - in the form of our two middle windows! We are replacing two windows with Polycarbonate and adding forward facing hatches to get some air flow through the boat because currently we do not have any forward-facing hatches, and the boat gets very hot and stuffy in the tropics.
