STUCK in the doldrums ALONE on my 50 ft boat in the middle of the PACIFIC OCEAN [ep 164]

When I chose to sail across the Pacific Ocean, I had quite a few concerns as well as some hopes for this crossing. Sailing, for even a couple of days, can get old and exhausting quickly, especially when the weather is bad and things break. Before this sail, I hoped for one day that I would be 'becalmed'; this would give me the chance to reset, fix things, cook a few meals, clean, and simply rest and sit in the moment. While I wasn't becalmed on this passage, I came close to it; it was my favorite day. OH! and I crossed the equator!!
