To remove the pump first, locate the water pump on your sailboat's air conditioning unit. It's usually found near the unit itself or within the engine room. Next, shut off the power to the air conditioner and disconnect any electrical connections to ensure your safety. Make sure you close the thru hull that feeds water to the pump before removing.
