Replacing the Anchor Bridle #momentsintime

We hit some rough seas on our run south. With the screecher rigged, we had to lower the bowsprit, not realizing the tie downs would chafe against our anchor bridle. Waves coming over the bows pushed the bridle against the Dyneema—and the Dyneema won. Rather than spend a windy night at anchor wondering about the bridle’s strength, we built a new one and added anti chafe protection for peace of mind.
